Areas of research
The ones mentioned in the preceding paragraph, excluding catastrophe theory, including
non-stationary thermodynamics, rheology, phase transitions, defects and hysteresis in
ordered materials, and axiomatic theories on the foundations of mechanics and
thermodynamics.
Areas of interest
Besides the ones mentioned in the preceding paragraph, mathematical logic,
quantum mechanics, and the experimental analysis of the behavior of
crystalline solids under large deformations.
